Jennifer Young shows off her father Gig Young’s Oscar which she finally inherited after a long-standing legal battle. Since 1978, her father’s agent Marty Baum had possessed the statue which was awarded for Best Supporting Actor in the 1969 film They Shoot Horses Don’t They?.
But with Baum passing away on Nov. 5, the Oscar has finally been passed down to her.
A legal case was settled in Jan. 1997 determined Miss Young would only inherit her father’s Oscar at the time of Marty Baum’s death.
