Boyzone have no relationship with Louis Walsh

OHMYGOSSIP — Boyzone no longer have any relationship with Louis Walsh.
Although the former ‘X Factor’ judge launched the boy band and went on to manage lead singer Ronan Keating’s solo career, the quartet no longer speak to him after he slagged them off in the press.
Ronan told the Dan Wootton Interview podcast: “I don’t have any relationship with Louis. But I don’t think Boyzone would be here today if it wasn’t for the fight that Louis put up for us when everybody else in Ireland laughed and said there won’t be an Irish boyband.
“We owe Louis that and I will always, always give him that.”
And Ronan – who is in the band with Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham – admitted he has been left puzzled by Louis’ two-faced behaviour.
He said: “I don’t really want to get into a slanging match because we’ve done all of that. One day Louis is your best friend and the next he doesn’t know you. You never know what version of Louis you’re going to get. You take it all with a pinch of salt. I wish him the best.”
Shane added that he finds Louis “unpredictable”.
He said: “He is a character, he’s unpredictable. He’ll come out with some crazy stuff -  totally unpredictable. You can meet him for lunch one day and have four hours of gossip and great fun and the next day he’s in the papers slagging you off.”
The Irish boy band will bring out their seventh and last LP ‘Thank You & Goodnight’ this November and then are heading out on a farewell tour that starts in January 2019 and the final album features the vocals of their late bandmate Stephen Gateley.
The group reworked one of Stephen’s unreleased solo songs, ‘I Can Dream’, as a tribute to their friend – who tragically died in October 2009 at the age of 33.
Shane recently said: “Do you know I think when it comes to this being our final album, it’s amazing to be able to wrap it up with Stephen on there too. I think that was important for us. But it came to us. It actually dropped on our laps as a producer got in touch with us guys, or the record company, saying they have this stuff. He was moving his studio and he goes ‘I’ve got Stephen’s vocals on this record from ’03 or ’02. Do you guys want it?’ And as it so happens we were making an album and we said ‘100 per cent, we’d love to have it.’ ”
