Ray Fenstone found former partner Coleen Nolan’s performance ’emotional’

OHMYGOSSIP — Coleen Nolan’s estranged husband is proud of her ‘The Real Full Monty’ performance.
The 53-year-old ‘Loose Women’ panelist stripped off with fellow stars Megan McKenna, Michelle Heaton and Victoria Derbyshire on Thursday’s (29.03.18) in a risqué dance routine choreographed by Ashlee Banjo to raise awareness of breast cancer, and her former partner Ray Fensome was overcome with emotions watching her performance.
He tweeted: “Well that was emotional! Well done Col. Proud of ya!#TheRealFullMontyLadiesNight (sic)”
Coleen wanted to take part in the show after losing her sister Bernie to the disease in 2013, and to show support for her sisters Anne and Linda who have both battled breast cancer.
She said: “My elder sister Anne had breast cancer in 2001 and Linda had breast cancer in 2006 and has just been re-diagnosed with secondary breast cancer, so it’s become a massive part of our family.
“It (was) horrendous when we lost Bernie and now we’ve got the worry of Linda, but you also selfishly think, ‘Three sisters. What are the chances?'”You worry about your own mortality and now I worry about my daughter and my nieces and nephews.
“It’s just really important to get the awareness out there about checking yourself.”
In February The Nolans star announced she would be divorcing her husband of 10 years because of irreconcilable differences.
Announcing the news in her Daily Mirror column, she wrote: “Me and my husband Ray are divorcing.
“There is too much dividing me and Ray.
“We can’t go back. And my future is going to be very different to the one I’d imagined back then… The last 12 months have been pretty hellish.”
The pair were together for 17 years and Coleen has been open on ‘Loose Women’ about using couples therapy to help get them back on track, but ultimately decided to call it quits to find “peace”.
On an episode of the show, she said: “I deserve to be happy. Everyone does. And once you know your marriage is truly dead you need to make your peace with that, bury the past and move on.
“After 17 years together that’s what I’m about to do.”
