Celine Dion thanks fans for birthday wishes

OHMYGOSSIP — Celine Dion has thanked her fans for their well wishes after her 50th birthday.
The ‘My Heart Will Go On’ hitmaker reached the milestone celebration on Friday (30.03.18) and has taken to social media to thank her devoted fans for all their kind messages.
She wrote: “I want to thank all of you for the wonderful birthday messages and videos. They touched me deeply. I celebrated this day surrounded by family, while feeling the spirit of your presence.
“Thank you for your love and support and for being such a big part of my life for all these years. I can’t wait to get back to being 100%, and to see you all again!”
Celine was forced to have a low-key birthday bash this year, after an ear condition known as Patulous Eustachian tube – which causes hearing irregularities and makes it extremely difficult to sing – left her needing surgery.
The star cancelled three weeks of performances from March 27 to April 18 to correct the condition, and instead of taking to the stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, she spent her birthday with her sons, 17-year-old René-Charles Angelil, and seven-year-old twins, Nelson and Eddy.
A source said before her big day: “She is now looking forward to spending time with her kids and loved ones on her big day.”
Celine has reportedly been suffering with her condition for over a year, and was on medication to ease the symptoms, but sources claim her ear drops are no longer working.
They added to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “She has been experiencing this condition for the past 12-18 months but it has been successfully treated with various ear drop medications. During the past couple of weeks these medications have no longer been working to treat the condition, so she will undergo a minimally invasive surgical procedure to correct the problem.”
