OHMYGOSSIP — Geri Horner is set to return for a new series of ‘All Together Now’.
The Spice Girls star will appear on the second series of the BBC One show, which asks talent hopefuls to get the 100 judges – from every walk of life – up on their feet and singing along for a chance to bag £50,000.
Geri said: “I loved making the first series, it was so much fun. It got the nation up on their feet and singing along on a Saturday night.”
Whilst her co-host Rob Beckett added: “I am absolutely delighted. After making 100 new friends on the show, the Christmas presents cost me an absolute fortune, so it’s great to be back in employment. I can’t wait to get started. I’ve also requested a stair lift for the next series to help me get to the top row of judges.”
Meanwhile, Geri previously revealed she signed up to ‘All Together Now’ because it is an uplifting talent show.
She said: “I discussed it with the producers and it was like, ‘I know you don’t want to be mean – let’s be kind to people.’ You’re just judged on the performance and that’s it, pretty much. What I love is it’s not promising anything – just a moment and the money. Modern Britain is very multicultural and this show is reflective of that. Given the last few years, let’s remind each other that regardless of our political views or our classes, our colour, our races or our genders, we all really like each other. That’s what really attracted me to it.”
And Geri formed a close bond with her co-stars in the 100 and hopes she can meet up with them all again one day.
She added: “We would all have sing-songs and we’d all pass sweets down the line. It’s really cute. So for that reason I look forward to seeing them all again.”
