Athena Chu rumoured to conceive again through artificial insemination

OHMYGOSSIP Rumour has it that 42-year-old Athena Chu has successfully conceived her second child after undergoing an artificial insemination, Yes Entertainment mediates.

Hong Kong media reported that Athena had recently travelled together with her husband, Paul Wong to the United States to undergo the procedure. At the end of 2013, Paul reportedly accompanied Athena to a renowned gynaecologist in Central, Hong Kong and confirmed that his wife had successfully conceived their second baby.

A source said, “Paul is even more anxious than the last time. He won’t even leave a step away from Athena. Even if there is a show in China, he will decline if he can.”

At the new year’s day, a slightly swollen Athena was spotted shopping for baby clothes with her friends.

When a reporter approached her about her pregnancy, Athena replied happily, “Haha. Do not ask me. I will not answer your questions!”

Before leaving, she even wished the reporter a happy new year.

Athena Chu (born 25 October 1971) is a Hong Kong actress and singer.

Chu attended The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts from 1990 to 1992, during which time she hosted children’s shows on the television station TVB. After graduating in 1992, she started working on films. Her roles with Chow kick-started her film career, and she is considered one of the Sing girls. Later, she moved on to work on television dramas produced by TVB.

After leaving TVB, Chu worked as a model and continued acting in films during the 1990s. In 2000, she started working on Mainland Chinese and Taiwanese television series.

Paul Wong Koon-Chung (born 31 March 1964) is a Hong Kong musician, singer, and songwriter who was the lead guitarist of the Hong Kong rock band Beyond.

Wong started off doing artwork for Beyond before joining in 1985. In the 1980s, Paul performed one of Beyond’s most popular songs, “Dai Dei”, which means “Big Land.” Known for his extraordinary guitar techniques, the guitar manufacturer, Ovation, have custom made acoustic guitars for him.

After Beyond split up, Paul pursued a solo career with his new band Hann. On 18th of Oct in 2006, Paul held his second solo concert in Hong Kong Coliseum,and released the sixth solo album on 17 November.
