Kylie Jenner's eye-kits 'prompt customer complaints'

OHMYGOSSIP — Customers of Kylie Jenner’s eye-kits have reportedly complained about the products causing chemical-induced headaches.
The 19-year-old reality star has turned her Kylie Cosmetics range into a major money-spinning venture, but not all of her customers are apparently happy with the products, with at least 15 consumers filing official complaints against the eye-kits on the grounds that they have caused them to feel unwell.
Over the last two weeks, customers have lodged their complaints with the Better Business Bureau, saying they smelled “chemicals and glue” when opening Kylie’s Royal Peach Eyeshadow Palette, according to TMZ.
Customers likened the odour to “spray paint” or “paint thinner”, according to the gossip website, which revealed that one consumer said it smelt so bad that she decided put the package outside her house.
Kylie Cosmetics has already launched an investigation into the complaints and has reportedly found that an adhesive in the packaging was causing the unpleasant smell.
However, the cosmetics firm insisted it is safe to use and it’s not been revealed whether it has decided to change the packaging.
Meanwhile, Australian pop star Kylie Minogue recently succeeded in her bid to stop Kylie from trademarking their shared first name.
The ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ hitmaker lodged legal paperwork to stop the reality star’s bid to obtain the rights to their moniker in February 2016, almost two years after the make-up guru had applied for the trademark.
And last week, it revealed that Jenner has had her application rejected.
But the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star is said to be launching an appeal against the verdict with the United States’ Patent and Trademark Office as she wants to use Kylie for her own fashion and beauty line.
