Love Islanders to decide who is dumped from the island
OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ contestants are to decide who is dumped from the island on Friday night’s (01.07.22) episode.
After it was revealed that couples Tasha and Andrew, Danica and Jay and Antigoni and Charlie were the least popular contestants with the voting public, a text reveals that their fellow Islanders must choose one boy and one girl to evict from the reality dating show.
When the girls and the boys huddle in groups at the fire pit to make their decision, Indiyah says to the girls: “I think you have to look at who will be open to giving things a shot”, while Luca is heard telling the boys: “We’ve all said the same thing and we’ve all agreed. That’s it. We have to stick by it now…”
Elsewhere in Friday’s episode, Davide admits that he feels “very appreciated” after the public deemed him to be compatible with actress Ekin-Su, 27, and insisted that their romance is “not fake.”
He said: “Naturally I felt very appreciated. They probably saw the connection that there is. They probably saw when we laugh together, we are real, it’s not something fake. I felt good about it yesterday night, and last night I was a bit more open with her.”
Ekin-Su – who made her debut in the Mallorca villa as a bombshell arrival just days after the series had begun – is feeling very “grateful” to the public because there was “always” a spark between herself and Davide.
She said: “I’m very, very grateful that the public believed in my choice. Me and Davide – there was always something there from the start. remember Davide was like, ‘I’m not going to make you coffee every morning, I’m not going to do this, don’t expect me to change’ and it’s just really nice to just see him again, fresh start, a nice coffee.”
Meanwhile, when the girls receive a text informing them that they are to have a night out for cocktails, the boys are left wondering what they will do on their own.
Jacques said: ” Listen, the girls’ text is girls’ night out, cocktails…” to which Dami asks: “What are we supposed to do without them though?”
‘Love Island’ airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
The dating reality show can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
