OHMYGOSSIP — New budget proposals for Denmark’s Royal House have increased by $1.54 million. According to The Local, the government have raised the amount given to the family by the staggering sum after failing to allot the family with enough money to cover their costs last year.
Denmark’s monarch Queen Margrethe has been granted $14 million while her son, Crown Prince Frederik will receive approximately $3.5 million, of which around $300,000 will go to his wife Mary.
The rest of the family are also set to receive an increase in their budget totalling around $4.7 million, meaning the final new budget has been totted up to $18.7 million for 2015.
Meanwhile, Frederik and Mary were recently spotted enjoying a romantic evening out away from their huge brood – made up of Prince Christian, eight, and Princess Isabella, seven, and three-year-old twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine – at the Hotel Hans Egede, in Greenland’s capital city, Nuuk.
The Australian-born princess, 42, and Prince Frederick, 46, looked smitten as they walked hand in hand on the red carpet as they arrived at the function.
The pair – who had been holidaying with the youngsters in the country since the beginning of August – also enjoyed a ride on the The Royal Yacht Dannebrog around the south and west of the country earlier in the week.
