OHMYGOSSIP — Britain’s Queen Elizabeth’s helicopter stunt as part of the 2012 Olympic James Bond skit during the opening ceremony has been voted as the best moment of her 61-year ruling.

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth’s helicopter stunt at the 2012 Olympics has been voted the best moment of her 61-year ruling. The monarch stunned the country when she took part in the James Bond skit with 007 actor Daniel Craig during the event’s opening ceremony, directed by Danny Boyle, and her apparent parachute jump has topped a poll marking her 87th birthday on Sunday (21.04.13).

Card company Hallmark conducted the survey and have created a giant birthday card containing tributes from Twitter for Her Majesty, which was delivered to Buckingham Palace in London this week.

A spokeswoman said: “Bringing the tradition of sending a card together with Twitter was really exciting.

“We’re thrilled with how the card looks and we hope Her Majesty likes it too.”

Other moments and signature traits which have made the list include last year’s Diamond Jubilee concert – which saw the likes of Madness and Sir Paul McCartney perform to a crowd of thousands outside her iconic home – and her fashionable clothing choices.
