“The Inbetweeners” James Buckley to become father for second time
OHMYGOSSIP — The Inbetweeners star James Buckley is to become a father for the second time. The actor, who plays Jay in the comedy, has revealed that his wife Clair Meek is due to give birth in mid-August, The Sun reports. The 25-year-old said: “I’m excited and happy, everything is in working order.
“Not sure what we’re having yet – a daddy’s little princess would be great. Another boy would mean I’m half way to creating the new cast of The Inbetweeners.”
He married Meek in a Scottish ceremony last November and they already have a child together. Their son Harrison was born in October 2011.
Buckley starred in E4’s comedy The Inbetweeners for three series from 2008 to 2010 before appearing in a big screen outing in 2011. There have been numerous reports that the cast will return for a sequel film.
However, co-star Blake Harrison, who plays Neil, recently revealed that there are “no real plans” for a sequel.
He said: “I think the writers are mulling over script ideas for another potential movie, but that’s all it is. There is no deal done. There is no script finished. It’s at a really foetal stage
“Whether anything happens or not is anyone’s guess at the moment. There is nothing confirmed, and that’s not a bad thing because maybe it’s a nice thing to bow out with people wanting more.”
