Ant McPartlin will get warm welcome by I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here crew

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’ team are “looking forward” to welcoming Ant McPartlin back on the show.
The presenter took some time off during last series to deal with some personal issues, with Holly Willoughby standing in as his replacement alongside his usual presenting partner Dec Donnelly, but the whole team can’t wait for Ant to come back.
Speaking at a BAFTA Masterclass, the show’s creative director Richard Cowles said: “We love what Holly did, but we’re very much looking forward to Ant coming back and I think it’s going to be an amazing series. I think the job is for us to create a series and cast where everyone wants to come back and watch more, so I’m not worried.”
And Dec previously admitted he didn’t want another man to replace Ant on this year’s show so Holly was the perfect replacement.
He shared: “As always I’m incredibly excited to be heading to Oz for ‘I’m A Celebrity’. It is obviously tinged with sadness that Ant won’t be coming this year, I’m going to really miss him, but it’s only for one series and he’ll be back stronger next year. I didn’t want to host this series with another guy so Holly was top of my list.”
Holly was overjoyed to be given the job and joked that she felt she “won a competition”.
She said at the time: “I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure. I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery.
“These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit. Honestly, I’m a huge fan of ‘I’m a Celebrity’ and actually feel like I’ve won a competition to go and hang out on my favourite show. When is it a good time to tell Dec I’m scared of everything that moves.”
