Pete Wicks and Megan McKenna make awkward digs during Celebs Go Dating reunion

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Wicks and Megan McKenna took sly digs at each other during an awkward reunion on ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
The former flames – who split after the reality TV star was caught “sexting” other women in 2017 – were reunited for the first time since the show’s mixer event, and their meeting on Thursday’s episode (28.02.19) took a frosty turn as the exes made some not-so-subtle references to their past.
When receptionist Tom Read Wilson asked Pete if he’d been dating before joining the agency, Megan quickly quipped: “Oh he’s dated.”
Her ex boyfriend wasn’t going to be outdone though, and he seemed to make a thinly veiled dig of his own, responding: “It’s finding the right person to date – that’s what I struggle with.”
Despite the awkward moment, Megan recently opened up about filming the Channel 4 show, and she said the “highlight” was getting the chance to mend their friendship.
Asked what the best part of the show was, Megan said: “Becoming friends with Pete. My lowlight is drinking too much wine on my dates. I had so much alcohol during filming that I felt sick. I had to drink because some of the dates were so dry.
“It’s painful to sit at a table and start a conversation with someone who doesn’t know what to say to me. I had many awkward dates, but it’ll make great telly!
“Me and Pete are friends and I wish him all the best. I’m sure he wishes me all the best, too. I want him to find someone – we’re clearly not right for each other.”
