Cheryl Cole: Stop involving me in Ashley Cole stories

OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl Cole has demanded that the press stop involving her in stories about her former husband Ashley Cole. The singer explained that she has no desire to be associated with the footballer since they divorced in 2010 after he cheated on her.

"I've been divorced for years. Stop involving me in stories on my ex-husband. It's lazy and boring..Please get over it FFS," she tweeted.

Her comments come in response to a report in today's Sun newspaper, in which 22-year-old Melissa Howe claims that she had a fling with Ashley while Cheryl was considering taking him back in 2011.

"We kissed in the Jacuzzi. When we got back inside we went downstairs and we made love on the sofa," Howe said. "It was really nice but I didn't want to stay. I got Ashley's driver to take me home."

Speaking of another encounter, she told the paper: "We kissed in the hallway and made love in the nearest bedroom. It had a four poster. We chatted about things and he said he wasn't seeing Cheryl anymore."

At the time, it was reported that Ashley had made Melissa and her twin sister Carla compete against each other to win a date with him.

Cheryl is now dating backing dancer Tre Holloway and has described their relationship as "genuine love".
